Sunday School

The following classes are exclusively for adults. If you are seeking options for other age groups, please use the buttons above to navigate to the appropriate section.

3:16 Class
Teachers: Marsha Moore, Lynda Smith
Age Range: All
Gender:Women

The 3:16 Class is a vibrant and welcoming community of ladies who share a deep love and appreciation for one another. This wonderful group not only fosters meaningful friendships but also actively contributes to the life of our church in various capacities. Many members have embraced additional roles, using their unique gifts and talents to serve the congregation. Several have taken on responsibilities in the children’s ministry, nurturing the next generation and helping young hearts grow in their faith. Others serve on the kitchen committee, ensuring that our gatherings are filled with warmth and hospitality, while many also bring their voices to life by singing in the choir, enriching our worship experience. Additionally, some ladies lend their time and talents to the library, supporting our community’s love for reading and learning. Together, the members of the 3:16 Class exemplify a spirit of service and camaraderie, making a significant impact within our church family and beyond.

Faithful Parents
Teachers: Billy & Terry Dye, Evan Smith
Age Range: Parents with school age children
Gender: Couples

Our curriculum encompasses both Bible studies and life application studies, with a strong emphasis on personal spiritual development, parenting, and marriage, all grounded in biblical teachings. We warmly invite you to join our class, where a diverse group of parents across various age ranges engage in open discussions and meaningful conversations. Together, we strive to deepen our faith as we walk with God and equip our children to make their own decisions to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our goal is to create a lasting legacy of faith that endures through generations. Come and be a part of this enriching community where growth and support flourish!

Journey Bible Study
Teachers:Doug Caroom, Ed Denman, Paul Webb, Ed Schaefer,  Bart Smith
Age Range: TBD
Gender: Co-ed

Our coed Bible study class takes a unique approach by engaging in a chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse exploration of the Scriptures, currently delving into the rich teachings of 1 Corinthians. Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, we prioritize a deep and meaningful examination of each passage, allowing participants to uncover personal applications that resonate in their daily lives. While we strive to make personal relevance a central focus of our discussions, we understand that this goal may not always be fully realized; however, it remains a guiding principle of our study.

Participation and open dialogue are hallmarks of our class, fostering an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their insights and experiences. We emphasize the importance of connecting the teachings of the Bible to our personal lives, encouraging members to reflect on how the lessons can be applied in practical ways. Additionally, prayer requests and praises play a vital role in our gatherings, creating a supportive community that lifts each other up. Led by Patricia Caroom, we ensure that these prayer needs are not only addressed during class but also followed up through texts and emails, reinforcing our commitment to one another beyond our meeting times. Together, we cultivate a space for spiritual growth, encouragement, and genuine fellowship.

Just As you Are
Teachers: Will & Deb Gilliam
Age Range: All
Gender: All

Imagine walking into a room where you’re not just recognized—you’re known. That’s what our Sunday School class feels like. Much like the show Cheers, it’s a place where everybody knows your name, your story, and your heart. This adult class includes a mix of ages and life experiences, which only enriches the dynamic of our conversations.

We gather each week not just to study, but to grow—individually and as a community. Our studies, including impactful books like The Bait of Satan and The Awe of God, challenge us to go deeper in our faith and draw closer to God. With our facilitator’s thoughtful guidance, we explore meaningful topics that speak to both the struggles and the victories we face in everyday life.

It’s a safe space—one where people feel free to share their burdens, celebrate their spiritual breakthroughs, and walk through life together. If you’re looking for more than just a class—if you’re looking for community, growth, and genuine connection—this is the place for you.
